Position Summary: 

Under minimal supervision, responsible for product cost oversight, operations income statement detail, and inventory analysis. Prepares all related reporting information. Performs financial analysis and participates in special projects. 

Key Accountabilities 

Essential Functions: 

• Analyzes and prepares reporting package for Manufacturing department
• Analyzes product costing results and variances to standard cost
• Participates in the preparation of the annual budgets for Manufacturing department 
• Interprets financial operating results and makes recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement 
• Provides reliable data and looks for ways to continually enhance the quality of the information provided and the responsiveness of the team to the changing needs of the business 
• To be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as: 

o Report to Finance VP and Senior staff 

o Work routinely with Operations VP, Directors, and Line Supervisors o Interact with Management from other departments as needed 

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position: Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 

Experience:

• Minimum five years of experience in a professional environment in a cost accounting, FP&A or related field.
• Experience with product cost/cost accounting activities. 

Additional Skills/Knowledge: 

• Strong working knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of accounting and financial reporting
• SAP experience preferred. 
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel
• Language: Proficiency in English Language required
